Impact Kitchen, Nomad & Williamsburg

I was super-impressed by my lunch at Impact Kitchen recently. Impact Kitchen is a small Toronto-based fast casual dining chain that has expanded to two locations in New York, in NoMad and Williamsburg. Their focus is on healthy, high-quality, fresh food; often sourced from local partners and farms. You won't find any gluten, seed oils, or refined sugars.

There's an extensive menu of breakfast, lunch, and dinner items; along with drinks and desserts. My Moroccan Harissa Power Bowl was delicious - roasted sweet potato, quinoa, chickpeas, radishes, microgreens and more with harissa sauce and honey lemon dressing. I declined to add a protein, but there are several on offer.

You can obviously place an order to go, but I enjoyed my meal in the attractive dining room. It was served in a real bowl with real flatware by the very friendly and attentive staff.

One more thing. If you haven't been on this stretch of Broadway between West 25th-30th Streets in a while, you should check it out. It's now largely a pedestrian mall with lots of outdoor restaurant seating and a fun, buzzy vibe, especially on a warm summer evening.
