My 10th Anniversary at Compass

This Saturday, May 16th marks the tenth anniversary of my joining Compass. When my now retired business partner (but still husband) Ralph Gilmartin and I (above) moved to this small, unknown start-up, the word in the industry was that we were "smoke and mirrors" and doomed to fail in five years.

Since then Compass has grown to the #1 real estate agency in the country with 32,000+ agents. We also own several other well-know brands with a total of over 300,000 agents worldwide (including my former brokerage!).

I have to thank our incredible leadership (starting with CEO Robert Reffkin) and their focus on giving agents the tools, technology and support to best serve our clients; and for creating a culture that prizes ethics, honesty, personal and professional growth, education, and service. I've met some incredible people along the way, and had a lot of fun.

Ten years ago I had no idea we'd end up where we are. I can't wait to see what the next ten bring.
