Manhattan Real Estate Update: Dec. 11, 2025
It's been a challenging year in the Manhattan real estate market, but the tide may be turning. For the first ten months of 2024, there were fewer contracts signed than normal. That started to change after Labor Day. September ended up in the normal range, but both October and November surpassed historical averages - by a lot.
It's too early to say for December, but right now we're ahead of last year. The general vibe most brokers are feeling is that after the holidays, we'll experience a busier than usual kickoff to the new year.
